Joaquin Dabezies

Joaquin Dabezies,

Joaquin started studying Architecture in his native Uruguay, then transferred and graduated from University College Dublin in Ireland. He has worked both in Ireland and in Uruguay before settling in the UK in 2010. Before joining us he was involved in the construction of the new Heathrow airport terminal T2A where he spent two and a half years working along Structural Engineers. Joaquin joined Cooley Architects in 2013. Since then he has been a key member of our team and has developed a strong understanding of the Residential and Student Accommodation sectors.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and children. You will probably never catch him on a crowded train or tube as he prefers to get wet and cold by cycling to work no matter the weather.

Joaquin left the practice in 2022 to pursue a new direction in his career
